This is a Swadesh list of Pama-Nyungan languages, specifically Gurindji, Ngaanyatjarra, Warlpiri, Dhuwal, Djambarrpuyngu, Ritarungo, Wong-gie and Kaurna, compared with that of English.
The list includes:
- Gurindji — Pama-Nyungan language (Ngumpin branch, has many Yirram and Jarrakan loanwords)
- Warlpiri — Pama-Nyungan language (Ngarrkic branch)
- Ngaanyatjarra — Pama-Nyungan language (Southwest branch)
- Yolngu — Pama-Nyungan language (Yolngu branch)
- Kaurna — Pama-Nyungan language (Thura-Yura branch)
- Badimaya — Pama-Nyungan language (Kartu branch)
