Dialogue
- The same dialogue was used for the rematch, but due to the access to in-game data, all languages (as well as the losing team's victory dialogue) are available in that page's "Dialogue" section.
- In addition, the rematch added the Japan region to the Splatfest, so brand-new Japanese dialogue was added there as well.

Trivia
- Team Chicken marks the first time a solid white ink color was used in North America and Europe. Japan would not see solid white ink until Team Hello Kitty in the first round of the Sanrio Splatfest Tournament.
- Near the end of the English, Spanish (Latin American), and Russian announcement dialogue, after a lengthy argument on the theoretical paradox of a chicken or egg coming first, Pearl and Marina begin laughing maniacally, after which Marina says "It's funny because we're all living in a simulation and free will is a lie." This is a reference to the philosophical topics of reality being a simulation and whether or not free will exists. The Russian version additionally references the movie The Matrix, which is about reality being a simulation. The French version has Marina question if they are living in reality, though she does not outright state they are in a simulation.
- In all languages, in this Splatfest's results dialogue, Marina states the fact that scientifically, the correct answer is that the egg came first, contrary to the results.
- However, the scientific answer is reflected in the popular vote.
- Flowers vs. Dumplings, the Japanese Splatfest that occurred the week before Chicken vs. Egg, was also a spring-themed Splatfest based on an adage.
