Michael Botte Band Releases New Song “Mirror”
Philadelphia-based country rock singer-songwriter Michael Botte, aka Michael Botte Band released a new song “Mirror” on October 18, 2024.
The song is the fourth single of 2024, following “I Got a Song”, “Dance with your Shadow”, and “RADIATE - Sara Bellum Remix”.
The track reflects the struggles and challenges many people face in their daily lives, capturing the frustration and anger that can arise when life doesn't go as planned, through powerful lyrics and a hard-hitting sound.
Additionally, the song offers a message of hope and resilience.
The track was written by Michael David Botte.
Michael Botte said of the song, “Life can be so unfair at times, and it's something that we all have to deal with. Covid quarantine changed my family’s life forever so I wanted to write a song that would resonate with people and let them know that they are not alone in their struggles.”
He added, “Music has always been a source of healing and connection for me, and I hope that 'Mirror' can offer that to others as well.”- Michael Botte was born and raised in a small steel town along the Ohio river outside of Pittsburgh, PA.
After a few early attempts of getting a band together in Oakland, CA in the mid-2000's, the Michael Botte Band was born in Philadelphia in 2020 during the COVID-19 quarantine.
In a time of confusion and chaos, Michael Botte wanted to create something positive evoking the music that had been growing inside him for years, and finally started recording demos of the songs he had written either 20 years or 20 days ago.
To date, his songs have reached No. 1 on the Rick Spins Radio Show in ISSA Radio, No. 1 on the World Indie Music Chart, and No. 3 on the Euro Indie Music Chart. - source : Apple Music
