The bass player is the group's oldest member. He's one cool customer who doesn't show much emotion, but make no mistake, he's the backbone of this band. He's always the first one at soundcheck, and the last one to leave the stage at the end of the encore.
Quinn is a tall, skinny, pale-skinned Inkling with purple hair parted to his right and a small purple goatee. He is usually seen with a blank expression on his face. In Splatoon, his outfit consists of a beige long-sleeved shirt with light green polka-dots, dark blue pants, and pink sneakers with lemon-colored soles.
Splatoon 2
In Splatoon 2, Quinn's outfit consists of a gray T-shirt depicting the silhouette of an eel over a red spot (likely referencing the notoriously bad food pairing of grilled eel and umeboshi in Japan), black pants, and gray boots with light gray soles.
Personality and traits
In supplementary text, Quinn is stated to be stoic, often appearing expressionless and only making slight movements while playing. He is passionate about music, however, and during his time on Squid Squad, was stated to be the first person to show up at every sound check, and the last person to leave at the end of every concert. Although he saw potential in Ichiya, he viewed Squid Squad as little more than a passing fad, and would break up the band after getting into a fight with Ichiya where they shot ink at each other.[1][2]
Quinn values tension in songwriting, and supposedly left Squid Squad when he believed the band was too cooperative and self-indulgent. He would later go on to form Diss-Pair with Mashup based on this ideology, trusting that he will keep the tension in their music. While he states Mashup's demands can seem all-over-the-place, he states that he believes Mashup to be very clever and intelligent. The two make music while pointing out each others' faults, and in concerts, do not make eye contact.[1]
Quinn is usually depicted as being asocial, keeping his distance from Nami and Murasaki in Squid Squad, and leaving an interview without further comment when asked about the possibility of a Squid Squad reunion.[1][2]

A signature found on the wall of Hotlantis, which resembles "IKKN". This is similar to Quinn's Japanese name, IKKAN, suggesting that this is his signature.
Trivia
Prior to his name being officially localized, his Japanese name, Ikkan, was used in official English material.[3]
Quinn's bass in Splatoon 2 bears a strong resemblance to the Fender Classic Series '50s Precision Bass.
