You did a great job implementing this feature. Three points:

• Unfortunately, it's undiscoverable: T378288: In Wikidata, "intitle:" searches should point the user to "inlabel:" search. To figure out its existence, I had to create a Phab task, then have a kind person point me to it.
• The fact that matches are not bolded is poor UI/UX.

• It could make sense to exclude aliases as they may clutter the results for labels, see the above task.

There's a complaint about the removal of the options dialog for logged-out users at https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Village_pump_(technical)#Media_Viewer_can't_be_disabled_-_gear_is_gone.

There is feedback on VPT that looping with only one image is a confusing user interaction. Buttons probably shouldn't be usable in that case.
