Steps to reproduce

(Weirdness is integrated in the steps)

1. Go to Test Wikipedia, HelloWiki article. Save article.
2. Tap "Linking to an article that redirects here" link, it links to to Hello Universe, which hard redirects to Erna Solberg.
3. Tap Save icon on Erna Solberg. Weirdness: Save icon doesn't show selected state after saving on article.
4. Go to saved article tab. You will see Erna Solberg and HelloWiki there. Tap to HelloWiki, then from that screen tap the "here" link again to get to Erna Solberg. Weirdness: Erna Solberg's save article icon is not selected in the toolbar and save icon is unresponsive.
5. Go back to saved article tab. Weirdness: now Erna Solberg has a "article queued to be downloaded" label that never goes away.
6. Repeat steps 1-3. Go to saved article tab and enter airplane mode. Go to HelloWiki and tap "here" link again. Weirdness: Erna Solberg doesn't load (article errors out), even though this works perfectly fine in airplane mode tapping directly to Erna Solberg from the saved article tab cell.

This is also reproducible in Staging for the Serbian Latin fixes since it uses a similar redirect to resolve.
