question to keep the Figma library in sync with the code: does that mean we have an additional group now?

Sounds good – tagging @Tsevener for visibility! 👋
I think this is now blocked by T337523. From what I can tell, there are two remaining pieces to checkbox 1:
Resolving this - switch to Xcode 16 was done earlier than expected in T370205.

@HNordeenWMF My plan is for us to set this up as a new persisted flag, so users in the target wikis who already saw the original announcement see this new one. Do you want a timebox for this new flag like we did with the old one? https://phabricator.wikimedia.org/T364397

Moving this back to the backlog for client-side cleanup.

@HNordeenWMF Sounds good to me! This has been submitted.
This works for me on my iPad mini (iOS 18.0) and iPad Pro 11-inch (iOS 17.5.1), so hopefully it's an edge case.

@ABorbaWMF Ah I see, yeah, the text views on talk pages (new topic and add reply) are older and were built before we created the "native editor" - i.e. the full source editor with all the keyboard buttons and syntax highlighting. Article's native editor was incorporated into the Talk Page > Edit Source flow, but not into the "new topic" and "new reply" textviews. The work to do that is in this task - T348292.
@scblr sorry about that - I kicked off another build (Experimental 166) that should have the Settings links in place.
@ABorbaWMF I think that's expected - this won't work for talk page "new topic" or "add reply" flows because those textviews are not built with our native editor.
Globally update the chromeBackground color group from color-white, color-beige100, color-gray700, color-gray700 to color-white, color-beige100, color-gray650, color-gray650
Use chromeBackground for the rows and midBackground for the entire view
Will be in Experimental build #164.
Partial PR is up, but we can't fully complete or test this work until Settings navigation is in (T374166).

@GOlson-WMF When you do pick this one back up, can you comment out the settings items that we want to remove, instead of deleting entirely? This is just in case we need to bring them back for a "control" experience as a part of T374161.
