Pro Goombas (originally known as Gu Goombas) are enemies found in Super Mario RPG: Legend of the Seven Stars and its remake. They are variations of Goombas found in Bowser's Keep during the revisit late in the game. Pro Goombas are identical to normal Goombas, save for their green color and higher stats. If Bowser is active in battle, Pro Goombas will sometimes flee from battle. However, if Bowser is not in the party, the Pro Goombas become confused and sometimes attack themselves or other monsters.
