The Action Gauge is a mechanic featured in Super Mario RPG for the Nintendo Switch. The player can fill up the Action Gauge by executing action commands with perfect timing and increasing the chain count. Once the gauge is full, a Triple Move can be performed. An accessory called Teamwork Band helps the user charge the Action Gauge faster.
Before Geno joins the party, the Action Gauge is instead used for Toad Assist. Toad Assist is also used if one or more characters in the party are defeated, or if a party member has a status effect.
