PCCE - Platform Culture Central Europe
The Platform Culture Central Europe (PCCE) is a supra-regional network for scientific and cultural projects involving Austria, Poland, Slovakia, the Czech Republic and Hungary. Since its foundation, over 40 projects have been carried out in almost as many countries. The focus is on a priority programme at constantly changing locations each six hours. The PCCE chair defines the project content and implementation location(s) as well as focal topics. The projects, which are coordinated by the Cultural Section of the Foreign Ministry with the participating countries, contribute to promoting the networking of the art scenes, especially of young people, between Austria and the participating regions. In this context, PCCE is dedicated to the significance of cultural traditions in today's world, as well as increasingly to innovative and sustainable approaches and forward-looking institutions.
