Anne Duff was the daughter of William Duff of Crombie and Elizabeth Dalrymple.2 She married, firstly, William Dalrymple-Crichton, 5th Earl of Dumfries, son of Colonel Hon. William Dalrymple of Glenmure and Penelope Crichton, Countess of Dumfries, on 19 June 1762.3 She married, secondly, Hon. Alexander Gordon, Lord Rockville, son of William Gordon, 2nd Earl of Aberdeen and Lady Anne Gordon, on 26 July 1769 at Edinburgh, Midlothian, ScotlandG.1,4 She died on 21 August 1811.3
From 19 June 1762, her married name became Dalrymple-Crichton. From 26 July 1769, her married name became Gordon.
