     He was Aide-de-Camp to the Earl of Hardwicke in Ireland.2 He fought in the Battle of Talavera on 28 July 1809.1

     Janet Duff is the daughter of William Duff of Crombie and Elizabeth Dalrymple.2 She married Sir Hew Hamilton-Dalrymple of Bargany, 3rd Bt., son of Sir Hew Dalrymple of North Berwick, 2nd Bt. and Margaret Sainthill, before 1773.3
     From before 1773, her married name became Dalrymple. From 12 February 1796, her married name became Hamilton-Dalrymple.2

     Henry Boyle, 3rd Earl of Shannon was born on 8 August 1771.1 He was the son of Richard Boyle, 2nd Earl of Shannon and Catharine Ponsonby.1 He married Sarah Burton Hyde, daughter of John Hyde and Sarah Burton, on 7 June 1798.1 He died on 22 April 1842 at age 70.1
