Aripiprazole

Aripiprazole (also called Abilify) is an antipsychotic medicine used for treatment of schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, autism and an adjuvant for major depression, which was first approved by Food and Drug Administration of the United States in November 2002. The first approval was for the treatment of schizophrenia. Later approvals were for bipolar disorder and depression. Common side effects include increase of blood sugar, vomiting, nausea and dizziness.
