Loch Toba

Loch Toba ^[1] is a loch in the caldera o a supervolcano. The loch is 100 kilometre lang an 30 kilometre wide, an 505 metre (1,666 ft) at its deepest pynt.

The Loch is in the middle o the northren pairt o the Indonesian island o Sumatra wi an elevation o aboot 900 metre (2,953 ft). The loch streek frae 2°53′N 98°31′E / 2.88°N 98.52°E / 2.88; 98.52 to 2°21′N 99°06′E / 2.35°N 99.1°E / 2.35; 99.1. It is the muckle maist loch in Indonesia an the muckliest volcanic loch in the warld.^[2]
