Nothing has been worth to be discussed so far, I'm afraid, ain't I?

TERC municipality code (P1653)

TERC municipality code (P1653) is ready. Thank you for proposing the property. --Tobias1984 (talk) 12:10, 21 December 2014 (UTC)Reply

P131

edit

Hi, please don't add more redundant P131 statements until it's clear if we have to avoid redundant information or not. I have spent a lot of time clearing this information for Catalonia municipalities because I have always understood that only immediate above administrative unit for each item has to be stated. Thanks. --Quico (talk) 21:45, 24 March 2015 (UTC)Reply

Understood, will do so - thanks & kind regards Gelli1742 (talk) 21:51, 24 March 2015 (UTC)Reply

Population reference

edit

Hi! Some Wikipedias retrive population data from Wikidata with references. So it would be appreciated if you didn't add "imported from Wikipedia" references to population data as self-references are generally avoided on Wikipedias. 90.190.58.243 14:52, 29 August 2016 (UTC)Reply

So where do they get their information then? Anyway, anybody is welcome regarding Wikidata as kind of leading within the Wikipedias. Gelli1742 (talk) 18:02, 29 August 2016 (UTC)Reply

Founded

edit

RE:[1] Sources please!

Municipalities as a concept was founded in Sweden in the 1860's. And no municipality of modern type is older than 1971. -- Innocent bystander (talk) 10:59, 3 October 2016 (UTC)Reply

thx - it's fixed now as I mixed up the municipality (founded 1971) with its tatört (founded 1621). Gelli1742 (talk) 11:37, 3 October 2016 (UTC)Reply
Good, "Tätort" is a statistical definition of "populated place". It is not always the same thing as the thing that was founded in 1621, but it is close enough. -- Innocent bystander (talk) 12:58, 3 October 2016 (UTC)Reply

Faulty interpretation

edit

Hello! These edits are based on a faulty interpretation: the text states that (p. 27) "Twin & Partner cities" means twin cities and partner cities, and I see that you listed all the cities as twin cities. Unfortunately, all these edits must be withdrawn. Pallor (talk) 15:22, 18 June 2024 (UTC)Reply

Thanks for your post, though I'm not sure, if I got you right. Some differ between both types of collobaration others don't. Is there any separating attribute for drawing the full picture? In the meantime I'll try to stop adding sister city agreements of friendship type. Kind regards Gelli1742 (talk) 18:21, 18 June 2024 (UTC)Reply
A twin city and a partner city are obviously not the same, as they are called differently. The source you posted does not clarify which cities are partners and which are sister to Tbilisi, so it is not suitable to source the P190 feature. Another source must be sought, and the entries made so far must be corrected. Pallor (talk) 21:09, 18 June 2024 (UTC)Reply
