Komparative Wettbewerbsposition der Ukraine in den Produktions- und Handelsbeziehungen im Weltwirtschaftssystem und mit dem sich erweiternden Europa

Abstract
In diesem Beitrag wird die Position der Ukraine in der internationalen Arbeitsteilung analysiert. Er stützt sich auf sektoral disaggregierte Daten zu Handel, Faktorausstattung und Lohnkosten für die Industrie der Ukraine sowie der Mitgliedsländer der erweiterten Europäischen Union. Die empirische Analyse zeigt, dass die Handelsstruktur der Ukraine nicht den komparativen Vorteilen folgt, sondern im Kern immer noch die politischen Prioritäten der ehemaligen Planwirtschaft widerspiegelt. Die Schlussfolgerung dieses Beitrags lautet, dass die Industriepolitik der Ukraine stärker nach marktwirtschaftlichen Kriterien ausgerichtet werden sollte, um die Vorteile intensivierter Wirtschaftsbeziehungen mit der erweiterten Europäischen Union besser nutzen zu können.
