Cognates include Lithuanian abù, abì, Old Prussian abbai, Old Church Slavonic оба (oba), Russian о́ба (óba), Belarusian о́ба (óba), о́бадва (óbadva), Ukrainian о́ба (óba), Bulgarian о́ба (óba), Czech, Polish oba, Gothic 𐌱𐌰𐌹 (bai), German beide, Sanskrit उभौ (ubháu), Ancient Greek ἄμφω (ámphō), Latin ambō, Tocharian A āmpi.[1]
