Ibrahim Mohamed

- The result of the discussion was withdrawn by nominator. Seems like this redirect is useful, following NelsonLee20042020 explanation. (non-admin closure) Ben5218 (talk) 22:24, 12 August 2024 (UTC)
- Ibrahim Mohamed → Murder of Koh Ngiap Yong (talk · links · history · stats) [ Closure: keep/retarget/delete ]
There is no visible reason why this redirect exists, and this name isn't mentioned at the target page at all. Ben5218 (talk) 17:55, 11 August 2024 (UTC)
- There is, actually. Ibrahim Mohamed and Ibrahim bin Mohamed are the same person. Plus, "bin" is equivalent to "son of" in Malay Muslim names, as in Ibrahim, son of Mohamed, and it is not necessarily always the case where the word "bin" is included in addressing or introducing Malay people by their full names. NelsonLee20042020 (talk) 18:21, 11 August 2024 (UTC)
- For example, like Singapore's first president Yusof Ishak, some people would address him as Yusof Ishak or Yusof bin Ishak, alternatively. So there is still mentions of the name throughout the article, only the difference is we have "bin" included in this case. NelsonLee20042020 (talk) 18:24, 11 August 2024 (UTC)
- Ahh, my bad. I didn't notice that the name "Ibrahim bin Mohamed" was mentioned in the article. Though, I'd recommend that this name should redirect to the specific section where this name is mentioned. Nevertheless, thanks for explaining. I'll withdraw my nomination. Ben5218 (talk) 22:22, 12 August 2024 (UTC)
- Keep. Plausible understanding of the name of one of the convicted perpetrators. PARAKANYAA (talk) 00:35, 12 August 2024 (UTC)
- Keep per NelsonLee's explanation of the "bin" part of Malay names being not strictly-speaking necessary. —Jéské Couriano v^_^v threads critiques 18:33, 12 August 2024 (UTC)

- Debayer → Bayer filter#Demosaicing (talk · links · history · stats) [ Closure: keep/retarget/delete ]
- Debayering → Demosaicing (talk · links · history · stats) [ Closure: keep/retarget/delete ]
These should point at the same target. (Once that is decided upon, there should be a de-Bayering redirect with the same target.) 1234qwer1234qwer4 09:54, 11 August 2024 (UTC)
- Bayer filter#Demosaicing is a section that links to Demosaicing, so we should change Debayer to point there —danhash (talk) 12:45, 12 August 2024 (UTC)
- @1234qwer1234qwer4: if you're good, we can close this. Jay 💬 17:17, 22 August 2024 (UTC)
- I have no particular preference, but the Demosaicing article seems to illustrate the topic based on the Bayer filter, so that works for sure. 1234qwer1234qwer4 17:19, 22 August 2024 (UTC)

- 2028 United States presidential election → United States presidential election (talk · links · history · stats) [ Closure: keep/retarget/delete ]
My request to add the {{R with possibilities}} template to this redirect was rejected because If there were possibilities at this point then it wouldn't be salted
.
Anyway, this title shouldn't even exist as a redirect, because it is still WP:TOOSOON and there is only a trivial mention in the "Comparison with other U.S. general elections" section. So, delete the redirect and salt it until November 5, 2024, when Draft:2028 United States presidential election could then be moved to mainspace. GTrang (talk) 03:58, 11 August 2024 (UTC)
- Are you planning to also nominate 2028_United_States_elections (created in 2022) and 2028 United States Senate elections (also created in 2022)? jp×g🗯️ 04:17, 11 August 2024 (UTC)
- Keep. WP:crystal specifically mentions the 2028 election and the 2032 Olympics not applying to crystal ball, which is the basis for WP:TOOSOON. In any case, neither policy mentions redirects, which is also why redirects of future years redirect to the relevant decade, even though we won’t be in that year for a while. That election is coming in 4 years, which means that it is a very plausible search term, and the fact that it is still included in the article gives it greater reason for there to be a redirect that exists. - Keep per above. I'll be surprised if it gets to 2025 before we start getting detailed content about the 2028 election. Thryduulf (talk) 10:22, 13 August 2024 (UTC)

Draftspace to mainspace/template space XNRs from completely irrelevant kanji titles. The reason these exist is because the targets were originally about the kanji and then were moved to the current location and had their topics changed. For example, this is what the first revision of Mizuwakasu Shrine looks like (don't get confused by the use of {{PAGENAME}}, the first sentence originally started with "債"). Delete all per WP:R#D2 and WP:R#D8. These would be eligible for R3 if they were recent. Nickps (talk) 02:37, 11 August 2024 (UTC)
