POSSIBLE DELETION

[edit]

I will be AFDing this article if Storobin doesn't win over Simcha Felder (as he most likely will not, IMO) in the November 2012 general election as Storobin simply does not meet the threshold for WP:NOTABILITY. He barely won over Lew Fiedler (amid allegations of voter fraud, proved in at least one instance) and held office only in June 2012, after Fiedler conceded on May 30, 2012; the legislature has been in recess ever since and the district was redrawn and eliminated. I think he passes WP:GNG at this point with the controversy surrounding Global Politician having hit NYT. Tijfo098 (talk) 10:44, 30 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Also, his initiative to reban gay marriage has received ample coverage. Some coverage not already included in the article:
And a longer, more multi-faceted profile here. This article needs expansion, not deletion. Tijfo098 (talk) 11:35, 30 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]
You may be right. Fair enough, but we'll cross that bridge when we get there after the election. Thanks for your contributions. Quis separabit? 16:27, 30 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Now 8 years later. This article is about a State elected official who served for 11 days of legislative session and less than a year in office in a district that was eliminated. Not a noteworthy individual. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 204.97.104.30 (talk) 16:28, 26 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]
@204.97.104.30: I don't agree that the article should be deleted, but I've gone ahead and completed the AfD nomination and opened the discussion at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/David Storobin. --Finngall talk 18:18, 27 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Cyberbot II has detected that page contains external links that have either been globally or locally blacklisted. Links tend to be blacklisted because they have a history of being spammed, or are highly innappropriate for Wikipedia. This, however, doesn't necessarily mean it's spam, or not a good link. If the link is a good link, you may wish to request whitelisting by going to the request page for whitelisting. If you feel the link being caught by the blacklist is a false positive, or no longer needed on the blacklist, you may request the regex be removed or altered at the blacklist request page. If the link is blacklisted globally and you feel the above applies you may request to whitelist it using the before mentioned request page, or request its removal, or alteration, at the request page on meta. When requesting whitelisting, be sure to supply the link to be whitelisted and wrap the link in nowiki tags. The whitelisting process can take its time so once a request has been filled out, you may set the invisible parameter on the tag to true. Please be aware that the bot will replace removed tags, and will remove misplaced tags regularly.
