Domen cinkovog prsta je konzervirani motiv aminokiselinske sekvence koji sadrži po dva posebno postavljena cisteina i histidina , koji su uključeni u koordinaciju cinka. Proteini povezani sa Kruppelom čine jednu porodicu proteina cinkovih prstiju.[ 3]
