Wood is an recurring Item in The Legend of Zelda series.[1][2][3]

Location and Uses

Breath of the Wild

In Breath of the Wild, Wood can be obtained from cutting down Trees throughout Hyrule Kingdom or found at various settlements like Hateno Village or Stables. They can be chopped using any bladed Weapon, or knocked down with Remote Bombs. Once a Tree is felled, Link can strike, or blow up, the fallen Tree to create a bundle of Wood.

Wood can be used to light Campfires, along with a flammable Weapon or a piece of Flint and a metallic Weapon.[1] In addition, Wood is used during the "Hylian Homeowner" Side Quest to buy a house[4], as well as during the "From the Ground Up" Side Quest to construct houses for Tarrey Town[5].

To remake the Great Eagle Bow, Link must bring Harth a Swallow Bow, a Diamond, and five bundles of wood.[6][7]

Tears of the Kingdom

Wood can be found by chopping down Trees.
