     Reverend Thomas Hutton Croft was born on 19 August 1797 at Aldborough Hall, Yorkshire, England.¹ He was the son of Reverend Robert Nicholas Croft and Elizabeth Wanley Bowes.¹ He was baptised on 15 April 1798 at Rowley, Yorkshire, England.¹ He married Eliza Mary Thompson, daughter of Richard John Thompson and Elizabeth Turton, on 27 September 1828 at Little Ouseburn, Yorkshire, England.¹ He died on 23 June 1873 at age 75.¹
     He graduated with a Master of Arts (M.A.)¹ He held the office of Prebendary of Stillington in 1831.¹

     Admiral William Croft was born on 2 April 1782.¹ He was the son of Stephen Croft and Frances Clark.^2,1 He married Harriet Plumer, daughter of Hall Plumer.¹

     Eliza Mary Thompson was born on 25 June 1804.¹ She was the daughter of Richard John Thompson and Elizabeth Turton.² She married Reverend Thomas Hutton Croft, son of Reverend Robert Nicholas Croft and Elizabeth Wanley Bowes, on 27 September 1828 at Little Ouseburn, Yorkshire, England.¹ She died in October 1884 at age 80.²

     Sydney Hilda Croft was born circa 1872.² She was the daughter of George Arthur Hutton Croft and Catherine Mary Richards.² She married Major George Philip du Plat Taylor, son of Colonel John Lowther du Plat Taylor and Emily Emma Charlotte Smith, on 23 January 1896 at St. George Hanover Square, London, England.² She died in 1930.²

     Major George Philip du Plat Taylor was born on 22 November 1867.¹ He was the son of Colonel John Lowther du Plat Taylor and Emily Emma Charlotte Smith.¹ He married Sydney Hilda Croft, daughter of George Arthur Hutton Croft and Catherine Mary Richards, on 23 January 1896 at St. George Hanover Square, London, England.¹ He died on 16 July 1926 at age 58.¹
     He was appointed Officer, Order of the British Empire (O.B.E.)¹ He gained the rank of Major in the Grenadier Guards.¹
