     Alexander Shaw of Tordarroch, 8th Chief of Clan Ay is the son of Robert Shaw of Tordarroch, 7th Chief of Clan Ay and Agnes Fraser.2 He married Anna McIntosh, daughter of Donald McIntosh of Kyllachy and Jean Dunbar, on 6 November 1684.1 He died on 22 November 1719.1
     He held the position of 13th Chief of the Clan Shaw from.1 He held the position of 8th Chief of the Clan Ay from.1 In 1679 as the younger of Tordarroch, he accompanied The Mackintosh against the MacDonalds of Keppoch in Brae Lochaber.1 In 1687 he was a witness to the marriage contract of the 19th Chief of Mackintosh.1 In 1698 he was named renewing a commission granted to the 19th Chief of Mackintosh 'for raising fire and sword' against Coll MacDonald, 15th Chief of Keppoch.1 On 18 May 1700 a commissioner named by the 19th Chief of Mackintosh at the Isle of Moy to act for him, on account of ill-health.1 On 22 May 1700 he was in 'an obligation' given by Coll MacDonald, 15th Chief of Keppoch at Fort William.1

     John Shaw is the son of Robert Shaw of Tordarroch, 7th Chief of Clan Ay and Agnes Fraser.2 He married Marjory Mackintosh, daughter of John Mackintosh, 1st of Dalmigavie, on 15 April 1692.1
     He was ancestor of the Shaws of Craigfield and Culblair (male lines extinct.)1 He lived between 1684 and 1728 at Craigfield, Scotland.1 He had three sons and two daughters.1

     Marjory Mackintosh is the daughter of John Mackintosh, 1st of Dalmigavie.2 She married John Shaw, son of Robert Shaw of Tordarroch, 7th Chief of Clan Ay and Agnes Fraser, on 15 April 1692.1
     From 15 April 1692, her married name became Shaw.

     Jean Macpherson is the daughter of Donald Macpherson of Nuid. She married, secondly, Donald Shaw, son of Robert Shaw of Tordarroch, 7th Chief of Clan Ay and Agnes Fraser.1 She married, firstly, Robert Mackintosh of Benchar.1
     Her married name became Mackintosh. Her married name became Shaw.

William Shaw1

     William Shaw is the son of Robert Shaw of Tordarroch, 7th Chief of Clan Ay and Agnes Fraser.2 He married Elspet Mackintosh, daughter of John Mackintosh.1
     He was tenant of Aldourie.1 He fought in the Battlle of Preston in 1715, where he was taken prisoner.1 He gained the rank of Quartermaster in 1715 in the Mackintosh's Regiment.1
