     Christopher Chevers was born in 1580.2 He was the son of John Chevers and Catherine Travers.1 He married, firstly, Eleanor Nugent, daughter of Christopher Nugent, 5th Baron Delvin and Lady Mary FitzGerald.1 He married, secondly, Jane Bath, daughter of Jerome Bath.1 He died on 7 November 1640.1 He was buried on 9 November 1640 at Chapel, Macetown, County Meath, IrelandG.1
     He had a grant of the manor and castle of Rathmore, County Kildare.2 He had a grant of the castle of Haystown and townlands of Three Castle.2 On 10 October 1611 he had a grant of the manor, mansion house and castle of Grangeforth, County Carlow.2 On 25 June 1623 he received a warrant for a baronetcy, but Cokayne states that it was never created.1 He lived at Macetown, County Meath, IrelandG.1
