Prädiktive Wahrnehmungsprozesse: multisensorische Konsequenzen eigener Handlungen

Projekt A3 kombiniert Psychophysik, EEG und fMRT, um handlungsbezogene multisensorische Vorher- sagesprozesse besser zu verstehen. Wir werden kontextuelle Einflüsse und individuelle Unterschiede im Handlungs-Wahrnehmungs-Schaltkreis untersuchen; insbesondere ob aus der Analyse einzelner Handbewegungen abgleitete Mechanismen sich übertragen lassen auf (1) Handlungssequenzen, (2) Fußbewegungen und (3) natürliche Kontexte (z.B. Radfahren). Mit EEG und kombinierter EEG-fMRT werden wir den (4) Zeitverlauf der prädiktiven neuronalen Verarbeitung und (5) individuelle Unterschiede in Personen mit schizotypen Persönlichkeitszügen beleuchten. Und ob (6) gestörte multisensorische Vorhersagen zu einer Beeinträchtigung der Handlungswahrnehmung bei Patienten mit Schizophrenie führen. Unsere Forschung überträgt grundlagenwissenschaftliche Erkenntnisse in den klinischen Kontext um Mechanismen aufzudecken, die Beeinträchtigungen der Handlungsüberwachung unter natürlichen Bedingungen zugrunde liegen.
