Directions

By public transport: train or bus

• CWI is a five minute walk away from NS station Amsterdam Science Park. This station is served four times an hour from the directions Amsterdam Centraal – Schiphol and Almere – Amersfoort.
  Walk through the tunnel after leaving the platform for the science park, cross the street (Carolina MacGillavrylaan) at the crosswalk and walk past the building of Amsterdam University College. Enter the terrain through the gates and take a right turn. You will be able to see CWI’s main entrance right in front of you.

• Alternatively, bus 40 serves Amsterdam Science Park four times an hour from stations Amsterdam Amstel and Amsterdam Muiderpoort. Get off at bus stop 'Science Park' or 'Science Park Aer'. During rush hour bus 240 can be used, too.

By car

The usual route to CWI via the s113/Middenweg will not be available due to roadworks from 28 October 2024 up until April 2025. Cars to and from Science Park will detour via A10/ Gooiseweg and Prins Bernardplein. And then via Hugo de Vrieslaan to Middenweg and Kruislaan. After you arrive on the Kruislaan:

• Turn left onto the Carolina MacGillavrylaan after passing through the railroad tunnel
• Take the Science Park entry at your right and enter the gate

Parking

Only limited parking space is available. You can park your car in any car park after the gate. Follow the signs to number 123, our main entrance. Parking is paid after one hour. Your license plate number is registered at the car park barriers, after paying by debit or credit card at the barriers, you can leave the lot. Visitors can register their license plate at our reception and then exit for free.
