Whups, thanks for spotting that missing image on "A Prime Problem"! :) --abates 09:31, 19 June 2009 (EDT)

G.I. Joe Slipstream

Where did you get the parsing of Slipstream's name as Slip-Stream from? The original figure and Marvel Comics spelled it as Slipstream, while the two more recent figures spell it as Slip Stream. --Tigerpaw28 12:13, 26 October 2009 (EDT)

Well, I found it on Wanted Pages with all the links leading to Slip-Stream, so I assumed it was correct (I don't actually know all that much about G.I. Joe). If it should be at "Slipstream (G.I. Joe)" or something, by all means, go ahead and move it. --Apoc 12:37, 26 October 2009 (EDT)
Apparently, I can't read YoJoe.com correctly. "Slip-Stream" is correct. So pay no attention to this man behind the curtain. --Tigerpaw28 20:53, 26 October 2009 (EDT)

Bruticus Maximus

Hey, thanks for agreeing my preference of having the entire combiner team represented with the combined mode in the toy image :D --FFN 20:24, 7 November 2009 (EST)

I didn't know it was your idea, but is seemed like a reasonable solution! --Apoc 08:40, 8 November 2009 (EST)

Megatron X

Just wondering, Apoc - where'd you get the picture of Megatron X that's on his page? When I played the game, he looked like this... is it a problem with the emulator on my end? He showed up like that in both the Japanese and American versions of the game for me. --Monzo 02:39, 25 December 2009 (EST)

Well, I used an emulator too, so it's possible the error is on my end... I guess you better ask someone who owns the actual game which of the two is correct? Maybe Interrobang knows, since he made the article. --Apoc 08:38, 25 December 2009 (EST)
Dave van Domelen has a scan from an old Japanese magazine that shows Megatron X looking like this (or on this page if direct-linking doesn't work). It looks closer to your shot than mine, but still a little different... I guess it could be the Playstation version? Is he even in the Playstation version of the game? (I actually own it, but it won't emulate right on my PC, so I have no idea.) --Monzo 09:28, 25 December 2009 (EST)
Hm. Apoc, I was able to make Megatron X available in the "view character" option in the Japanese game... if I tossed up the save state and the J-game, would you be able to get some shots of Megatron X's beast mode for his page? It's actually changed from Megatron's more than I thought, but I'm really thinking the solid blueness is an error on my end. --Monzo 12:10, 25 December 2009 (EST)
Sure, we could try that! Although there may be a chance we're using different emulators with incompatible save states... --Apoc 12:24, 25 December 2009 (EST)
I'm using Project64 1.6. What's yours? --Monzo 12:32, 25 December 2009 (EST)
Same! Go ahead, then. --Apoc 12:35, 25 December 2009 (EST)
http://obscuretf.com/Transformers%20-%20Beast%20Wars%20Metals%2064%20(J)%20[!].zip and save state. Hopefully, this will work... if it doesn't, there's three things that need to be taken care of; "Play As" needs to be enabled under "Cheats" in the emulator options, and you'll need a copy of the Gameboy Color BW game and the N-Rage game controller plugin to enable the N64 Transfer Pak. But, uh, we'll cross that bridge only if we need to, and I have copies of all those anyway... --Monzo 12:50, 25 December 2009 (EST)
Success! A few shots of varying zooms of the beast mode, and one of the vehicle mode. Since Interrobang confirmed this is the right one, I guess your emulator just overdid the blue tint for whatever reason. However, I don't know how to get the camera into the angle you used in your second shot. --Apoc 14:10, 25 December 2009 (EST)
I don't know if you're using a keyboard or a game controller. Whichever you're using, you need to activate the "C down" button to lower the camera; on an unaltered keyboard configuration and with the standard controller plugin, that would be the "End" key on the Insert/Home/Page Up/etc key field. Two or three times should get it into the position I used for his vehicle mode. -- Monzo 19:24, 25 December 2009 (EST)
Ah, thanks. Here you go. --Apoc 19:57, 25 December 2009 (EST)

I've played the game when I was young, and, yeah, Apoc's picture is what he's supposed to look like. I also recall seeing the renders from Dave's scan in either an issue of Nintendo Power or the manual. —Interrobang 13:27, 25 December 2009 (EST)

I decided to follow this lead and eventually found these in an issue of Nintendo Power. Another option for a mainpic, I guess? --Apoc 14:43, 25 December 2009 (EST)
Wow, those are awesome! I definitely think we should use them. Do you have them any bigger? I can get someone to remove the backgrounds. --Monzo 19:24, 25 December 2009 (EST)
Sorry, but these are the full size of the only scans I could find online. But if you want to search for larger scans yourself or just happen to know someone with an NP collection, they're in issue #132, from May 2000. --Apoc 19:57, 25 December 2009 (EST)
Had a friend edit the existing pics into what you see now (flipping Megatron X's robot mode to match the in-game version). Worked out pretty well.
Just for the sake of completeness, could you get me shots of him in close-up and from behind, too? --Monzo 22:25, 25 December 2009 (EST)
Sure thing. --Apoc 05:44, 26 December 2009 (EST)
I'm impressed you dug them out so quickly on the mere mention of "Nintendo Power". Unfortunate they don't seem to have his beast mode. —Interrobang 02:09, 26 December 2009 (EST)

Animated Planets

You fill my heart with joy.--Jimsorenson 18:23, 5 August 2011 (EDT)

Oh, uh, thanks! I was getting bothered by all those planets clogging up Category:Stub, and since I own an Almanac and most articles only require a single additional sentence to be finished... --Apoc 18:33, 5 August 2011 (EDT)
Yeah... I won't touch my own stuff, but it annoyed me to see all the stubs.--Jimsorenson 18:35, 5 August 2011 (EDT)

Stunticon Lockdown

Apoc, I see that you're the person who added that Speed Stars Stunticon Lockdown was depicted on the back of Bumblebee's packaging. I can't actually find a picture of the packaging back anywhere to confirm this... I don't suppose you own one? I know TFW2005 has this picture of it, and I'd really like to acquire a better version for the wiki. (I'm actually a little perplexed by this whole scenario, as I know that, generally, Speed Stars packaging backs don't have pictorial cross-sells.) --Monzo 03:15, 15 December 2011 (EST)

Ahhh, sorry, looking into this I must've made a mistake at the time. I don't have it myself and remember taking that info from the note at Speed Stars#Stunticon, but apparently I miswrote that Lockdown was shown on it instead of just listed. My bad. Presumably there's no picture on there, though this makes me wonder where the one on TFW comes from. --Apoc 12:05, 16 December 2011 (EST)
Ah-ha! It comes from here, a miniposter that was on the official Transformers website of Turkey. That'll help fill out some other info... --Monzo 22:59, 16 December 2011 (EST)

FOC Sideswipe image

Wow. Two users each upload slightly different versions of the same set of images within a minute. Man, what are the chances of that!? Inkblot 09:54, 12 July 2012 (EDT)

Haha, whoops! Great minds think alike (and also simultaneously). --Apoc 10:00, 12 July 2012 (EDT)

Q-Transformers ep 2

[1]? Saix (talk) 10:18, 4 January 2016 (EST)

Oh, thank you! --Apoc (talk) 10:54, 4 January 2016 (EST)

"Surprise World"

I'm assuming it's ビックリ世界 in the original Japanese? Asking for when I get the itch to make the article. Saix (talk) 16:18, 8 January 2016 (EST)

ビックリワールド, actually! --Apoc (talk) 19:49, 8 January 2016 (EST)

LGEX Waspinator and Rhinox comics

Creedence put these up over at the AllSpark: https://www.dropbox.com/sh/hmyii41y8esvk94/AAAwrh40-osG4uzN1kf93T_ia?dl=0. Escargon (talk) 20:47, 30 May 2016 (EDT)

Thanks! I'll get to work on those soon then. --Apoc (talk) 01:50, 31 May 2016 (EDT)
Cool. Here's Deadlocks's, as well: http://www.allspark.com/forums/uploads/monthly_06_2016/post-905-0-50401600-1464745387.jpg Escargon (talk) 21:45, 31 May 2016 (EDT)
Nice! Though to answer your question from earlier, I don't think I recognize the girl on the billboard after all. --Apoc (talk) 09:15, 1 June 2016 (EDT)

Convobat's comics

Here's both of them, if you're looking. http://imgur.com/a/sRCW3 Can also get the rest of Ginrai's wave, as well. Escargon (talk) 13:19, 30 December 2016 (EST)

Oh hey, thanks! Don't worry about the rest though, I've seen Powered Convoy's scans of those already. They're just a bit much to take care of all at once. --Apoc (talk) 13:28, 30 December 2016 (EST)

Cloud

I know you must be busy with your own life, but if you ever have the time, can you translate the remaining Cloud online text stories? S.H.I.E.L.D. Agent 47 (talk) 03:16, 31 December 2016 (EST)

Sorry, but I don't really feel up to those--I'm still an amateur Japanese student. Comics I can handle since the art often helps add context when I'm confused, but pure text stories are too much for me right now. --Apoc (talk) 20:35, 2 January 2017 (EST)
Ah, I see. Oh well. Thanks for your work on all those Legends manga. S.H.I.E.L.D. Agent 47 (talk) 21:14, 2 January 2017 (EST)

Unite Warriors Offshot

If you're in need of a copy of...er, the Megatronia chapter of Unite Warriors Offshot, a scan is available here. S.H.I.E.L.D. Agent 47 (talk) 22:40, 15 February 2017 (EST)

A bit late, but thanks again! Haven't gotten to work on that one yet, feels like there's not much else to write outside of "they wash up!"... --Apoc (talk) 14:36, 25 February 2017 (EST)

Link to a scan of the Baldigus chapter, if you need it. S.H.I.E.L.D. Agent 47 (talk) 13:14, 13 April 2017 (EDT)

Thanks, I'd been unable to find this one myself. --Apoc (talk) 10:41, 14 April 2017 (EDT)

Here's Creedence's scan of the voyager Black Convoy pack-in chapter. S.H.I.E.L.D. Agent 47 (talk) 20:50, 27 July 2017 (EDT)

Thanks again! I did have tagoal's photo of it that let me prepare a generic outline in advance, but I couldn't make out some of the kanji so I didn't really want to publish it before seeing proper scans... --Apoc (talk) 22:11, 27 July 2017 (EDT)

You don't have to, but is there any chance you could make a summary for Rodimus Wars? Powered Convoy posted scans at the Allspark. The dialogue is simple, but I couldn't get past that clunker of an opening paragraph. Saix (talk) 23:33, 8 August 2017 (EDT)

Sorry to say, we're in the same boat then. I've actually tried taking a stab at it before, but that paragraph is too much for me right now. --Apoc (talk) 00:05, 9 August 2017 (EDT)
Ah, completely understandable. Never hurts to ask. Saix (talk) 00:38, 9 August 2017 (EDT)

Deckess X Transformers Legends comic

Hey, can I ask, is there an explanation behind Ratttrap and his buds Q-T bodies in this one? I looked on the page but it doesn't seem to have a summary yet. Escargon (talk) 14:25, 25 February 2017 (EST)

Nope, none at all. They just look like that all of a sudden. I really ought to do a summary on that one, though... --Apoc (talk) 14:34, 25 February 2017 (EST)

Figured you'll need it, so here it is. Escargon (talk) 10:11, 25 August 2017 (EDT)

Thanks! --Apoc (talk) 07:10, 28 August 2017 (EDT)

Generations 2018 comics

[2]

Not sure if you already saw these, but the comics in Generations 2018, including the Kre-O/Legends crossover one, were scanned. Saix (talk) 09:25, 28 November 2017 (EST)

Just noticed you already did the Monorail comic, oops, never mind. Saix (talk) 09:32, 28 November 2017 (EST)
I actually did the monorail one from a video review of the pages--actual scans are much easier, so thanks! --Apoc (talk) 19:00, 28 November 2017 (EST)

Newly scanned Train Wars comic, if you want to try your hand at it. I set up a skeleton here. Saix (talk) 21:56, 11 December 2017 (EST)

I'll give it a shot! --Apoc (talk) 05:13, 14 December 2017 (EST)

LGEX God Ginrai manga

Here it is for your perusal. S.H.I.E.L.D. Agent 47 (talk) 21:50, 30 November 2017 (EST)

This month's comics, if you need them. Octane's comic is... a thing. Saix (talk) 03:15, 29 December 2017 (EST)
Oh boy... --Apoc (talk) 08:27, 29 December 2017 (EST)

Overlord comic is up. Saix (talk) 11:50, 26 January 2018 (EST)

Clonebots and Blitzwing. Saix (talk) 20:27, 28 January 2018 (EST)
On it! --Apoc (talk) 20:46, 28 January 2018 (EST)

New online comic and Metroflex comic, if you haven't seen them yet. Saix (talk) 13:10, 14 February 2018 (EST)

Thanks, I'm working on the online comic now. --Apoc (talk) 13:14, 14 February 2018 (EST)

If I haven't drove you nuts yet, this month's comics. Saix (talk) 16:51, 24 February 2018 (EST)

Don't worry--I'm not really active on any other fansites so it really does help that I don't have to go scour them myself every time there's a new wave. --Apoc (talk) 19:29, 24 February 2018 (EST)

Whether you get the time, could you summarize "Reborn"? (Scans are here.) It seems pretty generic, but I might be overlooking some interesting dialogue. Saix (talk) 18:17, 24 March 2018 (EDT) Seaspray comic. Saix (talk) 13:37, 26 March 2018 (EDT)

Thanks, Reborn's done by the way. --Apoc (talk) 02:43, 27 March 2018 (EDT)
Thanks for that! Jumpstarter comics here. Saix (talk) 23:34, 27 March 2018 (EDT)
Great! Guess we're done soon... Maybe I'll have to tackle Cloud after all just to have something to do. --Apoc (talk) 06:29, 28 March 2018 (EDT)
Ha, there's always all those old comics that never got translated if you'd prefer something easier. In the meantime, we finally have scans of the Adventure comic. My brain's too fired to figure out to properly translate the title, so I'll leave that to you. Saix (talk) 16:17, 28 March 2018 (EDT)
I'm thinking "Return! The Most Evil Duo" or some variation. I have a synopsis prepared, but before I make an article, uh, where was this one published? I'm assuming a Generations book. (Or you can make the base article.) --Apoc (talk) 17:24, 30 March 2018 (EDT)
Oh, it was Transformers Generations 2015. Saix (talk) 17:25, 30 March 2018 (EDT)

Greatshot. Grand Maximus. The End! Maybe? Saix (talk) 18:16, 31 March 2018 (EDT)

Oh lord, that's a lot of exposition in Grand's... --Apoc (talk) 19:12, 31 March 2018 (EDT)

This talk page has the links to the Beastformers/Laser Beasts comics in case you want to double check with the recent Legends stuff. Saix (talk) 19:14, 25 April 2018 (EDT)

Oh wow, I never knew they were that close at hand. Yeah I'll do this after finishing up Legends fiction sections, might be a fun project. --Apoc (talk) 13:43, 26 April 2018 (EDT)
More Beastformers stuff at this website. Notably, it mentions the Sharkticons were sent to Beast by Galvatron, so that wasn't something Legends came up with. I found actual scans, and the online transcript seems to be 1:1. Saix (talk) 10:23, 2 May 2018 (EDT)
Typed up summaries for the catalog stories. Feel free to correct any points I got wrong. Saix (talk) 13:31, 2 May 2018 (EDT)
Nice work, seems pretty accurate to me, I just added a small thing. The Holography Mirror must be what Platinum Tiger speaks from in the Doublecross prologue too... Sure is more to know about Beastformers than I ever expected. --Apoc (talk) 15:20, 2 May 2018 (EDT)

It's alive! Saix (talk) 12:57, 6 August 2018 (EDT)

New comic, in case you're unaware. Saix (talk) 08:10, 6 September 2018 (EDT)
Ah thanks, I've been too busy to pay attention. --Apoc (talk) 15:57, 7 September 2018 (EDT)
Last three pages are up. Saix (talk) 17:21, 10 September 2018 (EDT)

ニューコミック!!!! Saix (talk) 00:59, 29 October 2018 (EDT)

Oops, missed this cause I was logged out. Better get on it! --Apoc (talk) 19:06, 30 October 2018 (EDT)

Here are scans of the pack-in chapters for LG-EX Repug & Grotes. S.H.I.E.L.D. Agent 47 (talk) 00:46, 18 February 2019 (EST)

Big Blue Convoy comic. Saix (talk) 11:49, 1 March 2019 (EST)

Better quality scan of the Blue Big Convoy comic. --Sabrblade (talk) 18:26, 4 March 2019 (EST)
Thanks guys, I've been coming here less and less lately but I'll at least try to get Legends done. --Apoc (talk) 04:35, 9 March 2019 (EST)

Big Powered comics. Saix (talk) 10:46, 31 March 2019 (EDT)

Star Convoy comic, part of the Generations Selects line instead of Legends. --Sabrblade (talk) 11:50, 16 April 2019 (EDT)
Legends Epilogue manga (embedded offsite from Takara's website for convenience) --Sabrblade (talk) 00:54, 22 June 2019 (EDT)
Another Generations Selects comic, this time for the Seacons (scroll down to the bottom of the page). I guess "Turtler comic" would be an apt name for this one, given his prominence and the lack the other Seacons in it. Though, the same two page scans of the comic can also be found on the individual order pages for both Turtler and (even though he's not in the comic) Gulf. --Sabrblade (talk) 01:34, 2 August 2019 (EDT)

"Low-G Bar"

I assumed it was just from his own name (イエロージラフ). Saix (talk) 12:53, 25 May 2018 (EDT)

Oh yeah, that makes sense. Maybe worth mentioning on the article? --Apoc (talk) 04:12, 26 May 2018 (EDT)

Something a bit different

http://tfraw.blogspot.com/2017/08/transformers-x-dialect-girls-my-toys.html Here's an officially licensed manga that's a bit different this time. Escargon (talk) 19:43, 30 September 2018 (EDT)

Huh. Alright well, if it's official I guess I should... --Apoc (talk) 15:04, 1 October 2018 (EDT)
