Joyce (ジョイス Joisu) is a classmate of Jan Minakaze, and the best friend of Illumina.

She's a bit of an asshole.

When the Dinoforce attacked their school, Joyce was one of the kids who blamed Jan, though Illumina defended him. While Clump was later man enough to apologise for this false accusation, Joyce did not. Attack! Leozack Later, she, Rami, and Illumina went on a trip to the Ocean Exhibition, where they were rescued by Jan and the Rescue Patrol Team. Move Out! Rescue Team When Jan got his own battlemech, he picked up Illumina for an early-morning drive; Joyce teased Illumina about this before finally admitting that Jan had become somewhat cooler. Jan gave the girls and Clump a ride, at which point the Dinoforce attacked their school for the second time. After the battle, Jan announced that he was going to name his mech "Illumina II"; Joyce thought that "Joyce II" would be a better name. Jan - Defend the Campus!!
