The Illumina II is a transformable piloted mech from the Victory portion of the Generation 1 continuity family.

Fun fact: In the early days of the online fandom, Victory was rumored to be the most mature and complex of all Transformers series.

The Illumina II (イルミナII Irumina II) is a piloted vehicle that is able to transform from a chicken-walker into a four-wheeled vehicle. It has no weapons except for defensive smoke missiles. There is room for one kid-sized pilot and four kid-sized passengers.

Laster and Holi helped Jan Minakaze built the Illumina II so Jan could be of even more help to the Autobots. Jan used it to give Illumina a ride to school. Later, Jan was giving four of his friends a ride when the Dinoforce went through with their plan to attack the school to draw out Star Saber. Jan had to stall the Dioforce until Star Saber and Victory Leo could arrive, form Victory Saber, and kick Dinoking's butt. Jan - Defend the Campus!!

Jan got some Illumina II training time in by ramming it into a boulder in chicken-walker mode. He later went on a mission to rescue Star Saber, who was trapped by an energy barrier in a pit full of Transformer-eating insects. It was discovered that the barrier only worked on super-robot lifeform metal, and since the Illumina II was made of normal metal, it was unaffected. While Blacker, Braver, and Laster created a diversion, the Illumina II was able to create an opening in the barrier where it and Victory Leo could enter. Victory Leo then killed the bugs with a freezer beam. Jan escaped the pit, but Victory Leo and Star Saber could not follow, so Jan rammed the control tower until it fell. Victory Saber then beat up everyone. The Death-Bringing Space Insects!!

Jan had a vision of Illumina getting hurt by meteor bombs launched by Deathsaurus. He therefore modified the Illumina II with rockets and took off in it to go find her. She was fine. The Wrath of the Resurrected Giant Fortress!

Goryu later told Jan how to defeat the Planet-Destroying Fortress. Since Jan was the only Autobot available, he decided to take the Illumina II in the Galaxy Shuttle to destroy it. He intended to go alone, but Holi insisted on coming along. Once they were inside the fortress, its auto-defenses ignored human life, so he was able to get to the power core unhindered.
