Wings Universe

During a battle to recover the Heart of the Dragon from the Metrotitan, the Combaticons—as part of the Elite Guard—were set upon by Terror-Tread and Cement-Head. At Onslaught's direction however, Swindle grabbed the unconscious Vortex's nose cannon (which the Combaticon interrogator had nicknamed his "glue gun") and fired it at the two bash brothers when they collided, leaving them stuck together and hopelessly unable to agree on a single direction to drive in. The Transformers Vortex came with a small blue semi-automatic glue gun that could be chin-mounted in helicopter mode or hand-held in robot mode.
This toy was available as part of a Bruticus giftset and reissued many times, additionally its mold was used to make Target Hawk and Ro-Tor.
