     George Arthur Rimington was born in 1856 at Penrith, Cumberland, England.1 He was the son of Michael Rimington and Caroline Emma Thornhill.1 He married Frances Dykes Brisco, daughter of Sir Robert Brisco, 3rd Bt. and Annie Drewry Rimington, on 17 December 1878 at Parish Church, Foscott, Buckinghamshire, England.2
     He lived in 1891 at The Downs, Winmbledon, London, England.2
