Sir Edward Betenson, 2nd Bt. was born circa 1675.2 He was the son of Richard Betenson and Albinia Wray.1,2 He died on 17 October 1733, unmarried.2 He was buried at Chislehurst, Kent, EnglandG.2 He died intestate and his estate was administered to his three sisters on 5 December 1733.2
He succeeded as the 2nd Baronet Betenson, of Wimbeldon, co. Surrey [E., 1663] on 29 August 1679.2 He held the office of Sheriff of Kent from 1704 to 1705.2

He married, secondly, Magdalen Sybilla Herzogin von Sachsen, daughter of Johann Georg I Kurfürst von Sachsen and Magdalena Sybilla von Hohenzollern, on 11 October 1652. He died on 22 April 1669 at age 66 at Altenburg, GermanyG.
