     Kathleen Florence May Candy was born in 1872 at London, EnglandG. She was the daughter of Major Henry Augustus Candy and Hon. Frances Kathleen Westenra.3 She married Henry Pelham Archibald Douglas Pelham-Clinton, 7th Duke of Newcastle-under-Lyne, son of Henry Pelham Alexander Pelham-Clinton, 6th Duke of Newcastle-under-Lyne and Henrietta Adela Hope, on 20 February 1889.1 She died on 1 June 1955.3
     After her marriage, Kathleen Florence May Candy was styled as Duchess of Newcastle-under-Lyne on 20 February 1889. From 20 February 1889, her married name became Pelham-Clinton. She was appointed Officer, Order of the British Empire (O.B.E.) in 1920.1

     Major Henry Augustus Candy married Hon. Frances Kathleen Westenra, daughter of Henry Robert Westenra, 2nd/3rd Baron Rossmore of Monaghan and Josephine Julia Helen Lloyd, on 3 August 1870.1 He died on 26 July 1911.1
     He lived at Somerby Grove, Oakham, Leicestershire, EnglandG.1 He gained the rank of Major in the 9th Lancers.1

George William Stacpoole was born on 18 November 1832.2 He was the son of Richard John Delazouch Stacpoole and Jane Stacpoole.3 He married Josephine Julia Helen Lloyd, daughter of Henry Lloyd and Harriet Amelia Carden, on 18 June 1863 at St. James' Church, Westminster, London, EnglandG.4 He died on 19 November 1894 at age 62, without issue.2
     He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in the 18th Regiment.1 He lived at Edenvale, County Clare, IrelandG.4

     Francis John Montagu-Stuart-Wortley-Mackenzie, 2nd Earl of Wharncliff was born on 9 June 1856.2 He was the son of Hon. Francis Dudley Montagu-Stuart-Wortley and Maria Elizabeth Martin.2,1 He married Ellen Gallwey, daughter of Lt.-Gen. Sir Thomas Lionel John Gallwey, on 17 August 1886.2 He died on 8 May 1926 at age 69.2
     He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, England.2 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for the West Riding, Yorkshire.2 He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of the West Riding, Yorkshire.2 He gained the rank of Commander in the Royal Navy.2 He succeeded as the 2nd Earl of Wharncliffe, West Riding, co. Yorks [U.K., 1876] on 21 October 1893.2 He succeeded as the 2nd Viscount Carlton, of Carlton, West Riding, co. Yorks [U.K., 1876] on 21 October 1893.2 He succeeded as the 4th Baron Wharncliffe of Wortley, co. York [U.K., 1826] on 21 October 1893.2

     Ellen Gallwey was the daughter of Lt.-Gen. Sir Thomas Lionel John Gallwey.1 She married Francis John Montagu-Stuart-Wortley-Mackenzie, 2nd Earl of Wharncliff, son of Hon. Francis Dudley Montagu-Stuart-Wortley and Maria Elizabeth Martin, on 17 August 1886.1 She died on 12 March 1922.1
     From 17 August 1886, her married name became Montagu-Stuart-Wortley-Mackenzie. After her marriage, Ellen Gallwey was styled as Countess of Wharncliffe on 21 October 1893.

Lt.-Gen. Sir Thomas Lionel John Gallwey1

     Lt.-Gen. Sir Thomas Lionel John Gallwey was born on 20 July 1821 at Farmhill, Killarney, COunty Kerry, Ireland.2 He was the son of Major John Gallwey and Bridget Blood.2 He married Alicia Dorinda MacDougall.3 He married Cerise Armit Eyre, daughter of John Eyre and May Armit, on 7 June 1848.4 He died on 12 April 1906 at age 84.4
     He was appointed Knight Commander, Order of St. Michael and St. George (K.C.M.G.)1 He gained the rank of Lieutenant-General in the Royal Engineers.4 He held the office of Governor of Bermuda between 1882 and 1888.2

     George Ireland Arbuthnot was born on 21 December 1847.1 He was the son of Hon. James Edward Arbuthnot and Harriet Frances Staveley.1 He married May Cumming Munro, daughter of Donald Munro, in 1876.1 He died on 24 March 1900 at age 52.1

     Lady Florence Lucia Harris was the daughter of Admiral Hon. Sir Edward Alfred John Harris and Emma Wylly Chambers.1 She married Sir Charles Grant, son of Rt. Hon. Sir Robert Grant and Margaret Davidson, on 15 October 1890.1 She died on 27 January 1909.1
     Her married name became Grant.

Admiral Hon. Sir Edward Alfred John Harris1

     Admiral Hon. Sir Edward Alfred John Harris was born on 20 May 1808.2 He was the son of James Edward Harris, 2nd Earl of Malmesbury and Harriet Susan Dashwood.2 He married Emma Wylly Chambers, daughter of Captain Samuel Chambers, on 4 August 1841.2 He died on 17 July 1888 at age 80.2
     He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Christchurch between 1844 and 1852.2 He was Chargé d'Affaries and Consul-General to Denmark in 1852.2 He was Consul-General to Chile in 1853.2 He held the office of Minister to The Hague between 1867 and November 1877.2 He gained the rank of Admiral in the Royal Navy.2 He was Minister to Berne.2 He was appointed Knight Commander, Order of the Bath (K.C.B.)1
