     Harriet Frances Staveley was the daughter of General William Staveley.1 She married Hon. James Edward Arbuthnot, son of Sir William Arbuthnot, 1st Bt. and Anne Alves, in June 1837.1 She died on 11 March 1910.1
     From June 1837, her married name became Arbuthnot.1

Captain Alister Dare Staveley Arbuthnot1

     Captain Alister Dare Staveley Arbuthnot was born on 11 July 1881.1 He was the son of George Ireland Arbuthnot and May Cumming Munro.1 He died on 8 March 1916 at age 34, killed in action.1
     He gained the rank of Captain in the 3rd Sappers and Miners, Royal Engineers.1 He fought in the First World War, where he was wounded.1

     Madeline Winifred Louise Ogilvy Arbuthnot was the daughter of George Ireland Arbuthnot and May Cumming Munro.1 She married Colonel Norman Doncaster Noble, son of Colonel C. S. Noble, on 17 April 1912.1 She died on 3 March 1963.1
     From 17 April 1912, her married name became Noble.1

     Mary Rose Arbuthnot is the daughter of Hon. James Edward Arbuthnot and Harriet Frances Staveley.1 She married, firstly, Clinton Francis Berens Dawkins, son of Colonel Henry Dawkins and Emma Duncombe, in 1856.1 She married, secondly, Charles Edmund Banks on 23 December 1861.1
     From 1856, her married name became Dawkins.1 From 23 December 1861, her married name became Banks.1

     Clinton Francis Berens Dawkins was born in 1826.2 He was the son of Colonel Henry Dawkins and Emma Duncombe.1,2 He married Mary Rose Arbuthnot, daughter of Hon. James Edward Arbuthnot and Harriet Frances Staveley, in 1856.1 He died on 24 August 1859 at Trinidad.1,2
     He gained the rank of officer in the 60th Rifles.2
