Louisa Maria Maquay was born in 1862 at Florence, Italy.2 She was the daughter of George Disney Maquay and Anna Maria Cooley.1,2 She married, firstly, Colonel Hon. George Patrick Hyde Villiers, son of George William Villiers, 4th Earl of Clarendon and Lady Katherine Grimston, on 9 October 1884 at St. George Hanover Square, London, England.1,2 She married, secondly, Major Hon. Gilbert Legh, son of William John Legh, 1st Baron Newton and Emily Jane Wodehouse, on 28 June 1894.1 She died on 22 November 1932.1

Major Hon. Gilbert Legh was born on 21 April 1858.1 He was the son of William John Legh, 1st Baron Newton and Emily Jane Wodehouse.1 He married Louisa Maria Maquay, daughter of George Disney Maquay and Anna Maria Cooley, on 28 June 1894.2 He died on 23 December 1939 at age 81.1
