Lt.-Col. Hon. Richard Mervyn was the son of Robert Rochfort, 1st Earl of Belvidere.2 He married Letitia Richardson, daughter of James Mervyn and Arabella Edwards, on 9 June 1764.1 He died on 20 February 1776, without issue.1
