Sir John Phillimore was born on 18 January 1781.1 He was the son of Reverend Joseph Phillimore and Mary Machin.2 He married Catherine Harriet Baronin von Raigersfeld, daughter of Rear-Admiral unknown Baron von Raigersfeld, on 17 February 1830.1 He died on 20 March 1840 at age 59.1
He gained the rank of Captain in the Royal Navy.1 He was appointed Companion, Order of the Bath (C.B.)1 He lived at The Ray, Maidenhead, Berkshire, England.1

Catherine Harriet Baronin von Raigersfeld was the daughter of Rear-Admiral unknown Baron von Raigersfeld.2 She married Sir John Phillimore, son of Reverend Joseph Phillimore and Mary Machin, on 17 February 1830.1 She died on 7 December 1841.1
