     Lt.-Col. Leopold Richard Seymour was born on 2 June 1841.² He was the son of Rt. Hon. Sir George Hamilton Seymour and Hon. Gertrude Trevor.² He married Mary Hubbard Sturgis, daughter of Russell Sturgis, on 5 July 1871.³ He died on 30 May 1904 at age 62.²
     He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in the Grenadier Guards.²

     Mary Hubbard Sturgis was the daughter of Russell Sturgis.¹ She married, firstly, Lt.-Col. Leopold Richard Seymour, son of Rt. Hon. Sir George Hamilton Seymour and Hon. Gertrude Trevor, on 5 July 1871.¹ She married, secondly, Bertram Godfrey Falle, 1st and last Baron Portsea, son of Joshua George Falle and Mary Elizabeth Godfray, on 18 July 1906.¹ She died on 27 February 1942.²
     From 5 July 1871, her married name became Seymour. From 18 July 1906, her married name became Falle. After her marriage, Mary Hubbard Sturgis was styled as Baroness Portsea on 12 January 1934.

     Bertram Godfrey Falle, 1st and last Baron Portsea was born on 21 November 1859.¹ He was the son of Joshua George Falle and Mary Elizabeth Godfray.¹ He married Mary Hubbard Sturgis, daughter of Russell Sturgis, on 18 July 1906.¹ He died on 1 November 1948 at age 88.¹
     He was educated at Victoria College, Jersey, Channel Islands^G.¹ He was admitted to Inner Temple in 1885 entitled to practise as a Barrister-at-Law.¹ He graduated from Pembroke College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England^G, in 1886 with a Master of Arts (M.A.)¹ He graduated from Pembroke College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England^G, in 1886 with a Master of Laws (LL.M.)¹ He was Enroller of Deeds, Office of Works in 1898.¹ He graduated from Paris University, Paris, France^G, in 1901 with a Bachelor en droit.¹ He held the office of Judge of the Native Court [Egypt] between 1901 and 1903.¹ He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Portsmouth between 1910 and 1918.¹ He fought in the First World War.¹ He gained the rank of Major in the Royal Field Artillery.¹ He was created 1st Baronet Falle [U.K.] on 7 July 1916.¹ He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Portsmouth, North Division between 1918 and 1934.¹ He was created 1st Baron Portsea, of Portsmouth, co. Southampton [U.K.] on 12 January 1934.¹

     Conway Russell Seymour was born on 24 June 1874.¹ He was the son of Lt.-Col. Leopold Richard Seymour and Mary Hubbard Sturgis.¹ He married Louisa Mary Street, daughter of General J. A. Street, on 27 May 1897.¹ He died on 22 January 1958 at age 83, without issue.¹

     Louisa Mary Street was the daughter of General J. A. Street.¹ She married Conway Russell Seymour, son of Lt.-Col. Leopold Richard Seymour and Mary Hubbard Sturgis, on 27 May 1897.¹ She died on 28 March 1944.¹
     Her married name became Seymour.

     General J. A. Street was appointed Companion, Order of the Bath (C.B.)¹

     Colonel Arnold Charles Paul Butler was appointed Commander, Order of the British Empire (C.B.E.)¹ He lived at Carters Hill, Therfield, Royston, Hertfordshire, England^G.¹

     Mark Hamilton Seymour was born on 5 July 1960. He is the son of Julian Conway Seymour and Alexandra MacLeod.¹ He married Louise Whittingham, daughter of W. T. Whittingham, in 1989.¹
     He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the Royal Navy.¹

     Jane Mary Naomi Seymour was born on 13 October 1929.¹ She was the daughter of Beauchamp Seymour and Eva Douglas Brown.¹ She married Major Desmond Eric Renforth Scarr on 8 January 1954.¹ She and Major Desmond Eric Renforth Scarr were divorced in 1976.¹ She died in 2004.²
     Her married name became Scarr. She lived in 2003 at 11 Ensign Close, Cowes, Isle of Wight, England^G.¹
