Jean Campbell was baptised on 26 November 1700 at Gargunnock, Stirlingshire, Scotland.2 She was the daughter of Sir James Campbell of Ardkinglass, 2nd Bt. and Margaret Campbell.1 She married Archibald Campbell, 2nd of Shirvan, son of Dougall Campbell, 1st of Shirvan and Isobel Campbell.1 She died before 20 March 1751.1
