     Reverend William Page Richards was born circa 1773.2 He married Amelia Strachan, daughter of Sir John Strachan, 1st Bt., in 1813.1,2 He died on 2 April 1861.2
     He graduated in 1805 with a Bachelor of Civil Law (B.C.L.)2 He graduated in 1822 with a Doctor of Civil Law (D.C.L.)1 He was Rector at Abbotstock, Dorset, England.2

     Elizabeth Jane Richards is the daughter of Reverend William Page Richards and Amelia Strachan.2,1 She married Augustus Maitland, son of Sir Alexander Charles Maitland, 2nd Bt. and Helen Gibson-Wright, on 1 June 1843.1
     From 1 June 1843, her married name became Maitland.

     Alexander Charles Richards Maitland was born on 30 November 1845.1 He was the son of Augustus Maitland and Elizabeth Jane Richards.2 He died on 4 October 1929 at age 83.1
     He graduated from Corpus Christi College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England, with a Master of Arts (M.A.)1 He was a practising barrister.1
