Sophia Elizabeth Mudge was born on 31 October 1819 at Churchover, Warwickshire, EnglandG.1 She was also reported to have been born on 21 August 1819 at Rugby, Warwickshire, England.2 She was the daughter of Lt.-Col. Richard Zachariah Mudge and Alice Watson Hull.1 She married Reverend John Richardson Bogue in 1840 at Hendon, London, EnglandG.3 She died on 23 May 1896 at age 76 at Christchurch, Hampshire, England.2
