     Sir Thomas Hanmer was the son of Sir Thomas Hanmer and Joan Brererton.² He married Catherine Salter, daughter of Thomas Salter, on 15 April 1518.¹ He died on 5 April 1583.¹

     Sir Thomas Hanmer was the son of Sir John Hanmer and Jane Salesbury.² He married, firstly, Anne Talbot, daughter of Sir John Talbot, on 18 November 1585.¹ He married, secondly, Catherine Mostyn, daughter of Sir Thomas Mostyn and Ursula Goodman, between 31 August 1597 and 6 May 1598.¹ He died on 18 April 1619.¹
     He was appointed Knight in 1603.¹ He also had five daughters.¹

     Anne Talbot was the daughter of Sir John Talbot.² She married Sir Thomas Hanmer, son of Sir John Hanmer and Jane Salesbury, on 18 November 1585.¹
     From 18 November 1585, her married name became Hanmer.

     Sir John Hanmer, 1st Bt. was born circa 1590.¹ He was the son of Sir Thomas Hanmer and Anne Talbot.² He married Dorothy Trevor, daughter of Sir Richard Trevor.¹ He died between 10 June 1624 and 30 September 1629.¹
     He graduated from Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England^G, with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)¹ He was created 1st Baronet Hanmer [England] on 8 July 1620.¹ He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Flintshire in 1621.¹ He held the office of member of the Council of Wales in 1624.¹

     Dorothy Trevor is the daughter of Sir Richard Trevor.¹ She married Sir John Hanmer, 1st Bt., son of Sir Thomas Hanmer and Anne Talbot.¹
     Her married name became Hanmer.
