Stafford [G.B., 1784] on 12 November 1980.3 He succeeded as the 22nd Earl of Shrewsbury [E., 1442] on 12 November 1980.3 He was director of Britannia Building Society between 1984 and 1992.1 He held the office of Chancellor of Wolverhampton University in 1993.1 He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of Staffordshire in 1994.1

Hon. John Chetwynd-Talbot was born on 31 May 1806.2 He was the son of Charles Chetwynd-Talbot, 2nd Earl Talbot of Hensol and Frances Thomasine Lambart.3 He married Hon. Caroline Jane Wharncliffe, daughter of James Archibald Stuart-Wortley-Mackenzie, 1st Baron Wharncliffe of Wortley and Lady Caroline Elizabeth Mary Crichton, on 30 August 1830.3 He died on 26 May 1852 at age 45.3

Hon. Caroline Jane Wharncliffe was the daughter of James Archibald Stuart-Wortley-Mackenzie, 1st Baron Wharncliffe of Wortley and Lady Caroline Elizabeth Mary Crichton.2 She married Hon. John Chetwynd-Talbot, son of Charles Chetwynd-Talbot, 2nd Earl Talbot of Hensol and Frances Thomasine Lambart, on 30 August 1830.1 She died on 12 June 1876.1

Rt. Rev. Edward Stuart Talbot was born on 19 February 1844.2 He was the son of Hon. John Chetwynd-Talbot and Hon. Caroline Jane Wharncliffe.1,2 He married Hon. Lavinia Lyttelton, daughter of George William Lyttelton, 4th Lord Lyttelton, Baron of Frankley and Mary Glynne, on 29 June 1870.1 He died on 30 January 1934 at age 89.1

Joane Ogle was the daughter of Cuthbert Ogle, 7th Baron Ogle. She married Edward Talbot, 8th Earl of Shrewsbury, son of George Talbot, 6th Earl of Shrewsbury and Lady Gertrude Manners, in 1583.1 She died circa 4 January 1625/26.1 She was buried on 7 January 1625/26.1
Her married name became Talbot. After her marriage, Joane Ogle was styled as Countess of Shrewsbury on 8 May 1616.
