Brig.-Gen. Andrew Rollo, 5th Lord Rollo of Duncrub was born on 18 November 1703.2 He was the son of Robert Rollo, 4th Lord Rollo of Duncrub and Mary Rollo.3,4 He married, firstly, Catherine Murray, daughter of Lord James Murray of Dowally and Anne Murray, on 22 April 1727.2 He married, secondly, Elizabeth Moray, daughter of James Moray, 13th of Abercairny and Lady Christian Montgomerie, on 16 February 1765.2 He died on 2 June 1765 at age 61.2
He gained the rank of Captain in 1743 in the 22nd Foot.2 He fought in the Battle of Dettingen in 1743.2 He gained the rank of Major in 1750.2 He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in 1756.2 He fought in the Capture of Louisburg, Nova Scotia in 1758.2 He succeeded as the 5th Lord Rollo of Duncrub, co.
