     Hew Moncreiffe, 1st of Easter Rhynd is the son of John Moncreiffe, 8th of that Ilk and Janet Strathauchin.1 He married, thirdly, Elisabeth Dischington, daughter of Sir John Dishington of Ardross, in 1524.1
     He also held Pitgorno and Mundy.2 He was Gentleman of the Household between 1503 and 1513.2

     Janet Strathauchin is the daughter of unknown Strathauchin.1 She married John Moncreiffe, 8th of that Ilk, son of John Moncreiffe, 7th of that Ilk and Beatrix Dundas.1
     Her married name became Moncreiffe.1 She was also known as Janet Strachan.1

     Catherine Fraser was born circa 1690.1 She was the daughter of Hugh Fraser, 9th Lord (Fraser of) Lovat and Lady Amelia Murray.1 She married Sir William Murray of Ochtertyne, 3rd Bt., son of Sir Patrick Murray of Ochtertyre, 2nd Bt. and Margaret Haldane, on 25 July 1706 at Perth, Perthshire, ScotlandG.1 She died on 4 March 1771.1
     From 25 July 1706, her married name became Murray.1

     Sir Patrick Murray of Ochtertyre, 2nd Bt. was born on 21 January 1656 at Dollery, ScotlandG.2 He was the son of Sir William Murray of Ochtertyre, 1st Bt. and Isabel Oliphant.3 He married Margaret Haldane, daughter of Mungo Haldane, 13th of Gleneagles and Anne Grant, on 15 February 1681 at Gleneagles, ScotlandG.2 He died on 25 December 1735 at age 79.2
     He succeeded as the 2nd Baronet Murray, of Ochtertyre, co. Perth [N.S., 1673] on 18 February 1681.2
