     Edward Cosby Trench was born on 1 May 1881.1 He was the son of Hon. Cosby Godolphin Trench and Maria Musgrave.1 He married Evelyn de Courcy Daniell, daughter of Colonel de Courcy Daniell, on 5 February 1910.1 He died on 21 October 1961 at age 80, without issue.1
     He held the office of Honorary Attaché in the Diplomatic Service.1
