     Sophia Huffington was the daughter of William Huffington.² She married William Findlater, son of John Findlater and Janet Dempster, on 6 June 1822.¹ She died on 9 February 1831.¹
     From 6 June 1822, her married name became Findlater.

     Sir William Huffington Findlater was born on 1 January 1824.¹ He was the son of William Findlater and Sophia Huffington.² He married, firstly, Mary Jane Wolfe, daughter of John Wolfe, on 1 September 1853.¹ He married, secondly, Marion Park, daughter of Lt.-Col.
