Gertrude Fanny Thornton was the daughter of Henry Edward Thornton.1 She married Lt.-Col. Frank Evelyn Seely, son of Sir Charles Seely, 1st Bt. and Emily Evans, on 2 October 1907.1 She died on 9 July 1967.1

Sir Charles Hilton Seely, 2nd Bt. was born on 7 July 1859.2 He was the son of Sir Charles Seely, 1st Bt. and Emily Evans.1 He married Hilda Lucy Grant, daughter of Richard Tassell Anthony Grant and Lucy Ann Whiting, on 9 December 1891.2 He died on 26 February 1926 at age 66.1
He was educated at Harrow School, Harrow, London, EnglandG.1 He graduated from Trinity College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, EnglandG, with a Master of Arts (M.A.)1 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.)
