Helen Bowen was the daughter of William Bowen and Bridget Tynte.2,1 She married Edward Brereton, son of Edward Brereton and Helen (?), in 1665.1 She died in 1712.1

He gained the rank of Captain in the Colonel Charles O'Moore's Regiment of Foot in King James's Army.1 He was attainted for loyalty to King James II.1 He lived at Shannenmullen, County Laois, IrelandG.1 He lived at Loughtioge, County Laois, IrelandG.1 In 1702 his estates were forfeited to the crown and estates sold.1
