     Robert Cholmondeley was the son of Thomas Cholmondeley and Jane Tollemache.¹ He married Elizabeth Vernon, daughter of Sir Henry Vernon, 1st Bt. and Elizabeth White, in 1675.¹ He died in 1679.¹
